This is the links page. This is were the people who care about people and the planet need to prove it. If you want to make a difference there is probably no better way than by being a responsible consumer and to stop buying products that are bad for us all.
Remember, companies make products that people buy. If you and I buy products that are better for the world more products will soon follow. It's up to us, it's up to you. The best time is right now. Please don't let this opportunity slip away. It will someday be to late for such a simple solution to be effective.

If you're actually doing things to help make the world a better place than you are part of the solution. There is no secret to making a difference. You only need to take action and arm yourself with knowledge. Understand more so you can do more with the same amount of work. Research how effective the actions you're taking are at actually making difference. Many things are very easy to do, such as simply buying a safe product in the place of a hazardous one and you are easily participating in bringing more new and eventually even better products to even more people. Eventually even stores like Wal-Mart will want to carry products that are good for the whole world.
Let's face it; we are going to keep consuming, we just need to make our consuming a solution to our problems and not our imminent demise. When all of the products we consume respect human life and our earth we will have designed into our infrastructure the opposite of planned obsolescence. Imagine our infrastructure, our commerce, our society, as an automatic system of sustainable and peaceful living. And with innovative technology we will be able to live far better, for example: we will be able to use so little energy per person and live in such great luxuries that we will all be able to share our sustainable infrastructure across all borders while still living a completely sustainable life into the future. We can concentrate on teachings, culture, spirituality or whatever fills you life with meaning and happiness.

Inga and I "did" NYC yesterday complete with ice skating at Rockefeller Center, a stroll through Central Park (where we saw this wonderful Boreal Owl!), the Statue of Liberty at sunset, dinner and a show (a little off-beat theater show, that is).
